Dota 2 Review
Dota 2 is one of the most played games in the world, I heard about it from some friends then I started playing it. It’s an action strategy game that truly depends on patience above all, the one who levels up the most; kills the most and buys the greatest weapons and eventually the team wins. The battle sets online between two teams of five people in a three dimension environment, one of the team wins by destroying the HQ of the other, there are two strongholds, one is the Dire and the other is Radiant. It has been developed by Valve Corporation, an American corporation and is available only on an app called Steam. This app steam has some exciting features to it, when your installing a game you can decide to place a shortcut (there’s more) or you can securely keep it inside Steam protection and launch whenever you want by logging in, moreover there are thousands of free and purchasable games on Steam that are awesome, guess what; Dota 2 is on the top and its free. Dota 2 is an incredibly addicting game, more addicting than cigarettes or getting drunk, there is no going back once you’ve started playing it. Dota is like a chess game, a very tough one, it takes time and patience. There is a reasonable amount of variety of heroes and their abilities; you can even draft abilities to heroes in a specific game mode.
The game depends on one other thing, the kills; I really enjoy the game when the kills are even and both teams are suffering to win, some go kill “Roshan,” a creep boss that drops experience and an extremely rare item when it dies, when the battles are going at a tie, one of the team can go slay Roshan and level up and turn the tides onto their favor. You can voice chat between the match and can tell your team mate about an ambush. There are so many strategies and possibilities in the game that you will be shocked and addicted. One of the most fun things about the game is that you cannot predict which team will win, no way you can predict, the other thing is the chat feature through text; when you type “ty” the hero you have chosen will say thanks in the game and similarly when you type”haha” the hero will hahahahaa, your hero is completely obedient. Dota 2 is always evolving, new heroes are introduced and the game features are changed, new items appear in the shop, it’s a never ending adventure. Lastly Dota 2 is a place where you can meet people with similar interest, I have two best friends that I made from Dota, my long distant best friends and I am not a loner by the way, I have tons of friends. Enjoy playing the game; try not to get too addicted (friendly warning).
