Beyond the Boundary Review

Supernatural beings couldn’t get any friendlier; honestly, the writer of the story definitely had a thing for the supernatural. Beyond the boundary is a Japanese light novel written by Nagomu Torri and illustrated by Tomoyo Kamoi. Now it has been adapted to an anime, I have felt a special connection to the anime, aside the battles and action that I usually look inside an anime; I really like the concept. It reminds of my mother, well she used to tell me stories about the supernatural when I was very young, “You know Tallal, supernatural beings live among us in the same form sometimes, they even marry humans and fall in love with them, I have heard that they are more than even us, you know when you say their name; they come around to listen” These lines made very cautious of my surroundings, game me the creeps. Well she clearly made her point and the concept is very familiar to the anime. The supernatural beings my mother told me about are the “Djinns” in our real world, who are made of fire; I can’t really tell if she was right, who knows.

Getting back to the topic now, the anime has a soft touch to it. The story stares on two school fellows Akihito and Mirai, one day as Akihito is passing by the school building he sees a girl standing on the edge of it. He rushes to the top and tries to stop her from committing suicide. Later on they become friends and share some secrets to each other, Akihito tells her that he is immortal and he won’t die no matter how many times Mirai stabbed him with her Blood sword. All this sets in a peculiar world where supernatural beings and humans co-exist. The supernatural beings are called “Shade” or “Youmu,” The shade are very powerful supernatural beings with rare abilities, Akihito is a Half-Shade while Mirai is a Spirit World Warrior, simply someone who slays youmu to keep the balance between humans and youmu. But this girl, Miria, is not a normal Spirit Warrior; she is the last of her clan, the most powerful Spirit warrior clan. The anime is beautiful; it has almost everything, great battles and emotions, a cute little strawberry colored hair girl who can fight very well, the chemistry between the protagonists and an eventual fight between the two. I haven’t told you anything yet, figure out the rest satisfy your own excitement.

The Wolverine Movie review The Wolverine is a 2013 American-Australian superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character Wolverine. It is the sixth installment in the X-Men film series and follows the events of X-Men: The Last Stand (2006). Hugh Jackman reprises his role from previous films as the title character, with James Mangold directing a screenplay written by Christopher McQuarrie, Scott Frank, and Mark Bomback, based on the 1982 limited series Wolverine by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller. McQuarrie was hired to write a screenplay for The Wolverine in August 2009. In October 2010, Darren Aronofsky was hired to direct the film.
